BLOCK
slim, elegant, stable
The goal was to build a beautiful, slim and, above all, stable stem. We chose the three common fork offsets as lengths: 37, 44, 51 mm.

Why 37, 44 and 51 mm length?
When developing the stem, we discussed a lot about lengths, what should we do and why?
We came to the conclusion that the optimal ratio would be to ride the same length as the offset on the fork.
In other words, for all 27'5" lovers, 37 mm offset. For 29" bikes there are 44 and 51mm. Of course, other lengths can also be used, we recommend the same length, or longer than the offset to get enough pressure on the front wheel.
Why 0 mm or 7.5 mm rise?
We deliberately chose a version with and without rise. Depending on the stack height, the cockpit height can be adjusted.
Besides, it is a matter of taste which one is more beautiful.
Why steel screws and not titanium?
Initially, we also calculated and tested titanium screws. In the test laboratory at EFBE, the stem failed due to a broken titanium screw (grade 5).
We have come to the conclusion that titanium is the wrong material for this location and application.
How do we test?
Our stems are always put through their paces in the laboratory and in field tests.
We work with EFBE and always test to the maximum test load.
We also test the stem ourselves in the early stages and check that the screws are not cracking.
From the aluminum block to the stem, everything in one house.
Our stem is produced entirely in-house, even the screws. This means we are flexible and have been able to make many improvements right up to the finished product. The stem only leaves the house for anodizing, and we rely on professionals in central Germany for this.
